Avenues to Independence provides a comprehensive benefit plan to employees, pro-rated to the number of hours per week that you are scheduled to work.

These benefits include: 

Health Insurance Plan, HMO, POS, POS+ available for 28 hours per week and higher; deductions start at $23/paycheck for the standard employee only HMO. 

Short and Long Term Disability, including Life Insurance; 28 hours per week and higher.  Included at no additional costs for eligible employees.

403B Retirement Plan with Avenues Matching Program

Flexible Savings Account

Vacation, Sick, Personal and Holiday Pay; pro rated from 24 hours per week.

Voluntary Dental, Vision group plan


College Graduates:  Employees of Avenues to Independence may be eligible to participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness(PSLF) program.

The  PSLF Program forgives any approved remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under an established repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.

As a 510C3 charitable organization, employment at Avenues meets the requirement as a PSLF qualified employer.
